TGITF Friends! 'Tis the season to share Christmas finds--today it's half price poinsettias that are decking my halls...
After not being able to find my annual .99 poinsettias, I was elated to come across these beauties half price. Such a festive flower and finding a bargain is sure to put me in the Christmas spirit!
Once the kitchen, living and dining rooms were adorned, I decided to deck my vintage garden bike. I started by wrapping the handlebars with a mini pinecone garland I picked up for .25.
Next, a basket full of colorful ornaments,
a fresh wreath {also on sale},
and finally more clearance poinsettias and a chalk board message!
It is the most wonderful time of the year!
Until next time, happy hunting!
MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING FOR FEATURING THIS POST:
Looks great! I will unfortunately be avoiding poinsettias this year.....bad for the kitties :-(
ReplyDeleteGah! You're putting me to shame...I've looked at my garden bike and thought, "I need to decorate that" but have I? Noooo! Love yours. It's very festive looking!
ReplyDeleteAren't poinsettias great? I picked up a variegated one the other day. It has to sit outside because of the pets. Maybe I'll get my bike decorated and show off it at the same time!
Oh my goodness Cecilia ... you are putting me to shame with your pretty decorations. Love the bike ... should have bought that one at Finds for $5.00. Love the sign too. I will be getting poinsettias today. Hope I can find some as nice as yours at half-price. Have a great day, my friend.

You get the best buys...I need to shop with you!! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the bike! I've always wanted to find an old bike for yard décor but so far no luck! It all looks wonderful! My daughters' high school choir was selling poinsettias this year so we bought through them this time. I really do love their versatility in decorating vignettes. You're lucky that you can place them outside in Texas this time of year. That will never happen in Illinois! :) xoKathleen
ReplyDeleteLove the poinsettias, but I also don't have any in the home since Charlie Kitty is a plant muncher and they are poisonous. Love how you decorated the bike!!

Ooh, I love the fresh wreath and ornaments, Cecilia. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love love love your red bicycle.
ReplyDeleteWe have an old cruiser that Steve actually uses, but I wonder if I can paint it red when he isn't looking.
I frequently put flowers in the basket since it sits at the side of the house and can be seen from the street.
I love that garden bike. So pretty. I fear something similar at my house would be buried in snow. Thanks for sharing at My Flagstaff Home!

So much fun stuff! I love the elves, the reds and greens and of course the Jadeite! My kitchen is the one room in the house that doesn't get decorated so I love seeing what others do. When my kids are older I'll probably tackle the kitchen! xoKathleen
