A Little Christmas Ladder and a Dear Gift!

Happy Wednesday Friends!  It's no secret, I adore decorating for Christmas and this year I'm adding a repurposed yard sale find to the mix.

First, I want to tell you about a surprise I received in the mail from AnnMarie at Musings of a Vintage Junkie; wrapped in red and tied with a bow!

Look at this adorable waterless mason jar snow globe! I just love the white bottle brush trees and tiny deer. Such a thoughtful gesture--a deer gift from a dear friend ;) I will treasure it ~ thanks AnnMarie!

On to the project! You may remember this little bunk bed ladder I found at a yard sale.  Its small, compact size made the perfect drying rack for my bedroom.

Now that the holidays are here, I thought it would be fun to deck it out in style!  I wrapped some white sparkly tinsel around a strand of 50 lights and arranged it around the ladder rungs.  Then I added some tiny star garland created from sheet music that I picked up at my favorite craft sale last year.

Next I added a metal Peace sign--it was a Homegoods find from holiday clearance several years ago.

Finally, I used ribbon to hang several vintage ornaments.  Now this thrifty ladder has been repurposed twice!

After Christmas, it will go back to functioning as a drying rack.
