Greetings Friends! Today I am sharing a delicious dessert that is gluten free and dairy free. In addition to chocolate, lavender and mint, this tasty pudding has a surprising hidden ingredient...
...avocado! If you're like me, you may be thinking, "I like avocado, but in pudding?" I have a major sweet tooth and am constantly seeking healthier options. After tweaking my recipe, I decided to put it to the test. I shared it with my Bible study group and asked them to guess my hidden healthy ingredient and not one person tasted the avocado! In fact, two of my friends exclaimed, "Avocado?!" at the exact same time!
I blend it in my smoothie blender to get it extra creamy, then chill it before serving. The ingredients I used are consistent with the popular Paleo diet. Here's what you'll need:
2 small avocados
2 tablespoons raw organic agave nectar
3 tablespoons raw organic cacoa powder
1 cup almond milk
1/2 teaspoon organic peppermint extract
1/4 teaspoon organic culinary lavender
This recipe makes three 1/2 cup servings. Enjoy!
MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING FOR FEATURING THIS POST:
