Happy Tuesday, Friends! It's time for the latest Creative Craft blog hop hosted this month by Donna from Modern on Monticello. Today I'm sharing a simple way to dress up a plain wreath and you can probably shop your home for the supplies to create a similar quick upcycle
If you hopped over after visiting Terrie from Decorate and More with Tip, welcome! Isn't her leaf garland pretty? Now if you don't have a vintage spice bottle, no worries--you can create a comparable craft with most any small bottle.
Here's what you'll need:
Burlap ribbon and jute twine for hanging
Spice or decorative bottle
Dried or silk flower stem
First, shop your home for a wreath and a spice or decorative bottle. (I used a 3.5" bottle with a 12" wreath.) Next, thread burlap ribbon through the top of the wreath to create a hanger and secure the bottle to the wreath with double-knotted jute twine. Last, add a dried bloom like my hydrangea or a silk stem if you prefer. Voila! That's all there is to it!
This post contains pink affiliate links for comparable supplies. See full disclosure here.
I'm so glad you stopped by today, be sure to check out the cute repurposed pumpkin from Jenna at Painted Apron, and remember to visit the rest of today's featured bloggers for more crafty inspiration!

Your lamb's ear wreath is such a soft and lovely greenery to match with your spice bottle vintage look, Cecilia! So sweet and adorable!
ReplyDeleteThat must be the easiest wreath I’ve ever seen. Was there a wire connected to spice bottle or did you add one? Never seen a spice bottle like that and wondered what I was missing.
