Porch Preview and a Necessary Update

Hi there, Friends! I am not a big fan of change when it comes to the behind-the-scenes workings of the blog, but occasionally necessary housekeeping is required that is beyond my control. I promise not to bore you with too many details, but it is important that you are aware of a new update to prevent any confusion. First, here's a preview of the upcoming porch update I'll be sharing on Tuesday...

Now for that housekeeping! Currently, if you receive email notifications of my new blog posts, they are from Feedburner, which is scheduled to discontinue service next week. For this reason, you've probably noticed that some of the blogs you follow have recently updated how you receive their emails. Although it wasn't my intention to wait until the last minute to make a switch, completing my new book has been a priority, so here we are! After doing some research, I found thought that follow.it was the best fit for my blog, but I have subsequently come to a different conclusion, because once my subscribers were added, they received an email that looked nothing like the preview pictured below. If that included you, my apologies! Hopefully you have seen my new and improved solution by now! Stay tuned--I'll be sharing more about that soon!
