Hi there, Friends! Wreaths are so versatile--they can welcome guests at the front door or add instant charm to any room. By shopping your home and layering wreaths you already have, you can create a new look for free in just a few simple steps! Join me today to see how easy it is...
If you're new here--welcome! Also, a big thank you to Sara at Birdz of a Feather for being the summer hostess of the Creative Crafts blog hop!
Here's what you'll need to create a layered wreath:
*Two or three wreaths of various sizes
*Fishing line and scissors
*Crafty embellishments
You may want to play around with different wreaths to see which ones work well together. Notice mine are different colors that contrast each other. I also had the Today I choose joy sign on hand. (I love inspirational messages and pick up little signs when I see them on sale.)
You'll use the fishing line to tie the wreaths together.
You'll need to attach them in at least two places for each wreath. Once the line is tied and double-knotted, it will be strong and sturdy.
Depending on what kind of embellishments you select, you can either attach them with more fishing line or hot glue them.

ReplyDeleteLove this triple layered look in a wreath. It really catches the eye and is perfect for the whole summer.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful wreath. It is perfect for the door.
ReplyDeleteCecilia, Your layered wreath turned out so pretty and love your 'choose joy' sign in the middle! Using fishing line instead of florist wire to attach your wreaths is genius! ♥
ReplyDeleteCecilia, this is so beautiful! I love the combination of colors and textures! The addition of the sign is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteI've made so many wreathes--and I've never made a layered one. What a great idea! Couldn't keep house with my roll of fishline. I often put a dab of clear nail polish on my knots to keep them from loosening up!
