Hi there, Friends! My small front porch has been long overdue for a little love. My faded concrete stain had become an eyesore that was resistant to power washing, but I came up with a solution for a pretty porch refresh...
Here you can see the progression beginning with the stains, followed by power washing, and after painting the steps and entry with gray porch paint.
To give you an idea of the time involved, I power washed first thing on a Sunday morning, and then it was ready to paint before lunch.
Remember I was looking for a patterned rug to layer with my new doormat? I found this one on clearance at Michael's, and it complements the darker leaf color of the doormat. I also picked up this great vintage thrift store basket with the porch in mind.
I am loving the simple refresh!
I used a stencil to add a little something extra to the steps. It's a fun way to greet guests as they approach the front entry!
I received this stencil as a member of the DecoArt Blogger's Outreach Program. See full disclosure here.
My thrifted boxwood wreath got a new sign...
...and aren't these little hanging baskets from Dollar General cute?
All of my porch flowers were on sale at Lowe's--even the little lime tree on the right.
A rustic copper candle holder with outdoor LED candles complements the other copper garden accents...
