Highlights from Colorado and CSU Flower Trial Garden

Happy Monday, Friends! This perfect dahlia is from the CSU Annual Flower Trial Garden in Fort Collins. I snapped plenty of photos to give you a wonderful virtual tour of the beautiful blooms plus a few highlights of my much-needed time with my daughters

The first week of August I visited my girls in Colorado and had such a wonderful time! The weather was absolutely perfect and it was so fun to hang out in their stomping grounds ranging from Johnstown to Fort Collins.  Twelve-year-old Ginger Grand picked out purple paint for a funky dresser redo that we worked on together while I was there even though my grown-up grand is not so much a fan of sharing photos. 😉 Youngest Daughter cooked delicious mushroom risotto and we went to Black Sheep Coffee & Crepes, Nicole's Warehouse, and spent four hours thrifting at the Arc in Loveland--y'all, almost everything was 50% off and I found so many cute clothes for fall and winter, which I rarely find locally. Here are a few views from their beautiful garden. The top corner is a hummingbird feeder ring we set up in the big tree in their front yard. Once the hummingbirds start visiting, Ginger Grand can slip it on! 

Dear Firstborn made scrumptious Mediterranean flatbread and we ate at Ginger & Baker, Butterfly Cafe, and Taste Local where I ate every last bite of this tiramisu French toast! Besides visiting the flower trial garden, we thrifted, saw the Barbie movie, and watched the sunset the night before I left.
