Hi there, Friends! As promised, today I'm sharing my favorite lavender brownie recipe. These delicious brownies are rich and chocolaty with just a hint of lavender--perfect for a special occasion or any time you are craving chocolate...
When I shared my "Bunnies in the Garden" Easter tablescape a few weeks ago, there was a lot of interest in the brownies I featured.
The recipe is from The Lavender Cookbook by Sharon Shipley. I discovered this fabulous cookbook several years ago when my mom and I attended the Becker Vineyards Lavender Festival. It has recipes for everything from appetizers to entrees. You can find it here!
Here are the ingredients and the recipe:

As the recipe instructs, I use a spice grinder to grind the lavender before adding it to the dry ingredients.
I used a doily as a stencil for dusting the brownies with powdered sugar and...
...cut them with a round cookie cutter before serving.

Ohmygoodness! You can take the three cutouts, and I'll take the remnants of that pie plate! ♥
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter week, Cecilia.

ReplyDeleteThey look great and so does your table. I adore those tiny bunnies, too. So cute! I wish you a blessed Easter, Cecilia. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGosh they look good Cecilia! And I LOVE that bunny pan! xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteHow lovely these brownies look and I bet they taste just like they look! I would never in a million years think about putting lavender into brownies, but it looks so vintage and elegant! I'm in love with your little vintage bowl with the bunnies on the handles and I love that vintage Jenny Wren Biscuit cutter too! Such a lovely post all around! Thank you for sharing!
