When I shared my "Bunnies in the Garden" Easter tablescape a few weeks ago, there was a lot of interest in the brownies I featured.

The recipe is from The Lavender Cookbook by Sharon Shipley. I discovered this fabulous cookbook several years ago when my mom and I attended the Becker Vineyards Lavender Festival. It has recipes for everything from appetizers to entrees. You can find it here!

As the recipe instructs, I use a spice grinder to grind the lavender before adding it to the dry ingredients.

I used a doily as a stencil for dusting the brownies with powdered sugar and...

  6. How lovely these brownies look and I bet they taste just like they look! I would never in a million years think about putting lavender into brownies, but it looks so vintage and elegant! I'm in love with your little vintage bowl with the bunnies on the handles and I love that vintage Jenny Wren Biscuit cutter too! Such a lovely post all around! Thank you for sharing!
