Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Last week on an early morning errand run, I popped into Big Lots to use my rewards coupon. I was thinking I might stock up on essentials like toilet paper but came out with some steals on seasonal bargains instead...
Since Big Lots had adopted stricter limits on their paper goods, I turned my attention to their seasonal decor. These pretty potted succulents were marked down with summer clearance. I don't mind mixing fresh and faux, especially with such realistic-looking plants. Both of these will transition nicely into fall as well.
Last but not least, I grabbed this pretty pastel pumpkin pillow. Between clearance bargains and my coupon discount, I paid $1.99 each for the succulents and $7 for the pillow. Cha-ching!
Until next time, stay safe and healthy!
Love that pillow!!! I have a Big Lots here so putting it on my list. Thanks for sharing!

Great, great bargains! I love Big Lots, haven't been there in a long while. That's an excellent price on those succulents. They can be so expensive.
ReplyDeleteWow Cecilia, you scored, faux succulents look so real these days
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, love the pillow good idea not looking for toilet paper 😀

Great bargains! I love faux succulents--scored 4 this week at Hobby Lobby--in their last life they were napkins rings! The jute covered ring will become a dollhouse picture frame! I started making cloth pumpkins from GW clothing last week; none finished yet. As I have messed up my sewing machine, I am currently making p. from sleeves and legs! Actually, I need to buy toilet paper--am on the last package. I am lucky; our Big Lots is next door to the Dollar Tree!
ReplyDeleteYou never know what good deals you might find in Big Lots! I like shopping there, but don't go often since it's not in town.
