Hi there, Friends! It has been over a month since my last thrifting jaunt, and although I've been spacing out my finds for several weeks, today I'm sharing the last episode of my early spring haul--a few avian-inspired quartets from Goodwill...
It's not unusual to come across pretty boxes at thrift stores, so when I first spotted the charming box for these lovely plates, I half expected it to be empty.
However, I was thrilled to discover the set of 4 plates inside featuring an assortment of sweet garden scenes of feathered friends...
...watering cans, terracotta pots, birdhouses, and flowers. Aren't they darling? I can't wait to share a tablescape featuring this pretty quartet!
I also scored a fun quartet of mini hanging bird cages that I'm sure you'll see again when inspiration strikes! Stay tuned!
As we continue to stay at home, my Friday posts will look a little different, but I have a few ideas in mind!
Until next time,
Oh my, how sweet, Cecilia! Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteI love those plates, and the little birdcages, so cute. Oh, I miss thrifting too!!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds, as usual. I can see your birdcages becoming candleholders in your garden, holding little birds off your chandelier. Love how the green goes with your Jadeite. I figure I am gonna get credit cards paid down with no thrift or craft store visits!
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to find little surprises inside thrifted items. You found a great surprise! The plates are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLovely plates! I found little bird cages similar to yours in turquoise.
