Vintage Charm Features of the Week:

Cecilia’s Pick

Our friend Lora B. from Create & Ponder is the queen of repurposed junk. This charming advent calendar is just one of 12 Vintage Repurposed Junk Ideas for Christmas and trust me-- you don't want to miss the rest! Pay Lora a visit for more fun Christmas inspiration!

Kathleen’s Pick

Our friend Claire from Pillar Box Blue has done it again, this time with a rotary power tool and a china plate. Just when you think you've seen it all in the way of creative Christmas crafts, think again. Claire upcycled her china plate into mini Christmas trees! I applaud her creativity and skill, and urge you to drop by How to Upcycle China Plates with a Ryobi Rotary Tool to see how she did it and be inspired.

Party Guidelines

  • Content: Submit up to three posts that involve vintage finds, crafts, DIYs, or other vintage subject matter. Please do not submit  Etsy or items for sale.
  • Link-back: Be sure to include the Vintage Charm button or a text link back to the party in your linked post. This is mandatory to be featured.
  • Visitation: Please visit other blog posts—after all, that’s what a link up is all about. When pinning, please go to the source of a photo to pin it to Pinterest, so the originator of the post gets the credit.
  • Hostess Love: Consider following each of your party hostesses blogs and/or one or more forms of social media. We love connecting with each of our guests and will be highlighting features on all of our social media.
  • Spread the Word: Consider mentioning Vintage Charm on your social media to help spread the word and make this party a great experience for everyone.
  • Prizes: Keep in mind that each month we will select one of the month’s featured posts to be Featured on all four hostesses blogs. At the end of the year, one of the twelve monthly features will be selected as the Grand Prize Feature of the Year. Prize TBA.
  • Permission: By linking up to Vintage Charm you assert that the photographs are yours (or you have permission to use them), and you give your hostesses permission to feature them on social media or a blog party, with a link back to your blog. You likewise assert that the content of your post is also yours.

  • Our trusted linky party provider, InLinkz, has chosen to upgrade their party format. "So what does this mean for me?" you might ask. It's basically the same as the old format, however, it may look a bit different in its page design. As always you will provide your link, the name of your link and your email address along with a photo. In that respect it's no different than what you've always done. The only other thing you'll need to do is check the box next to : "I agree to the InLinkz terms of service and privacy policy." That's it. if you have any questions or problems with this upgraded format please let either Kathleen or Cecilia know and they'll be happy to help!

    1. Lora's ideas are the best. I made those spool wreaths last year from her roundup post you've featured today, and I love them so much. I had a bag full of old wooden thread spools a friend had given me. They were her mom's, and she was really happy to receive one as a gift to hang on her tree. Kathleen's feature is pretty cool too. Now we know another thing we can do with all the dishes we collect. ;) Happy Wednesday.

    2. Thanks for the feature, Cecilia! I love when a new season is upon us and we can see all the fresh, new ideas! Kicks in the creative juices, too!
