Tulip Festival with Favorite Son

Happy Monday, Friends! I just returned from visiting Favorite Son who moved to Washington last summer. He took me to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival and of course, I snapped lots of photos to share with you! I saw so many varieties I hadn't seen before including this gorgeous double-peony tulip

Isn't it a stunner? Fringed tulips were also new to me!

As you might imagine, the fields and fields of tulips were a feast for the eyes...

...and it was such a treat to see them with Favorite Son!

Aren't the white varieties lovely?

Double peony, fringed, or assorted--which is your favorite color or variety?
