Friday's Find: Gobble, Gobble!

Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Today's fabulous find is this quirky little turkey...

Terracotta turkey

Over the years, I've added quite a few terracotta pieces to my garden, but never a turkey! When I saw him sitting in the garage corner at an estate sale, I snatched him up and gave him a place of honor on my red chippy stool right by my back door.  Gobble, gobble, y'all!

  4. Cute turkey! I'm going thrifting today. It's 25 degrees here... brrrrr! I'll be looking for fabrics today. I want to make a rag wreath.

  5. He's cute Cecilia! I found terra cotta turkey candle holders last year. I've been toying with the idea of white washing them. But so far haven't done it. I scored a lot of goodies this last week. Fabulous dishes, and a fun ornament tree are just a couple. I wanted to let you know that the 'Creating Christmas' party button is on my sidebar. You can hop over and copy the image. I'd love if you would add it to your sidebar and you can put a link back to your blog. Would also be great if you did a post to help advertise. Carol and Lynn are doing one on Monday I think.
    hugs,

  6. Great addition to your garden Cecilia. No reason why he would not be welcome all year. Fun "greeter" at your back door.
