Greetings Friends! Did you eat lots of turkey and pumpkin pie? I enjoyed a wonderful holiday with my girls and Ginger Grand in Colorado. We had such a sweet time--saying good-bye is always a challenge! A little Christmas decorating was just what I needed...

Counting my blessings, I was inspired by this sparkly estate sale find to make a Blessing Tree. I placed my tree in a milk glass platter--also an estate sale find and filled it with white and silver pine cones. Next, I added a glittery initial for each family member and wrote some of my many blessings on tags from Michael's dollar bins and tied them to the branches.
Did you notice this fluffy little snow owl peeking behind the branches? It was love at first sight when I spied him at a craft sale! Doesn't he add whimsy to my winter table?
I combined classic milk glass with silvery accents, like this shimmering tree from the same craft sale I found the owl. I paid $7 for both!
For the place settings, I layered my Vintage china and Termocrisa plates from a recent find and topped them with opalescent acorn ornaments--from last year's Christmas clearance.
Here's a view of the whole table including my ornament chandelier above...
You probably noticed that my table is styled with thrifted and bargain finds--that makes me merry! I'll be counting my blessings and enjoying this tablescape through January! Thanks so much for stopping by today--happy decorating!

MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING FOR FEATURING THIS POST:
