Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! When people ask me about thrifting, I always encourage them to go often--at least once a week if possible. As often as I go, there are just some weeks when pickings are slim. I am happy to report this was not one of those weeks! I discovered such thrifty goodness, it was hard to decide which to post first. When in doubt, I say choose Jadeite! I absolutely adore the stuff but in the few years since I started collecting, it seems to be harder to find and therefore more expensive. I was in my favorite local shop, just about ready to call it a day when be-still-my-heart, I spied these lovelies on a bottom shelf! Woo-hoo!
Hello Friends! It's another thrifty Friday and I am really excited about today's fabulous find. One of my friends and I were just discussing coral as a trend for Spring fashion. It also happens to be a good color with my blue eyes and fair skinned complexion. So I was delighted to see this lovely LCD hanging on a thrift store rack--you will not believe the price....
Hello Friends! It's thrifty Friday and I am so glad you dropped by. Today I have some great Easter inspired finds. Best of all, these treasures were each under $1!
Hello Friends! Aren't you glad it's finally Friday? These lovely lace valances are today's fabulous thrift store find. As soon as I spotted them, I knew they would be perfect for my latest project--new curtains for a guest room I am updating. I plan on adding them to burlap panels and at $4 for the pair, they cost less than purchasing lace by the yard! Whether you have your next project in mind, or are shopping for a Vintage look, thrift stores are a great place to shop for window treatments.
Stay tuned to see how I combine these thrifty pretties with burlap for simple no sew curtains! I would love to hear your thoughts or see your latest treasure.

Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Today's find is this fabulous Shabby Chic lamp shade. It caught my eye because though I often see lamps while thrifting, the shade is usually missing. I have hunted for just the right shade on more than one occasion--this one is spotless, floral perfection for $5. Happy dance!
I would love to see your latest treasure!

Greetings thrifty friends! Today I am featuring charming Vintage finds for the kitchen. I adore Vintage lines of all varieties and how cute is this anthropomorphic stitched tea towel?! It is right at home in my kitchen and is already hanging on my refrigerator door.
Greetings Friends! Not only is today's feature fabulous Fire-King, it's also gorgeous gray! I really thought I had seen all of the lovely patterns until I came across this dreamy Gray Laurel manufactured by Anchor Hocking from the 40s-60s. It has the texture of milk glass with that trademark opalescent luster. You are probably thinking that I really don't need more dishes which is true...Did I mention they were 75% off?! Did I also mention that gray and turquoise is my new favorite color combination? Sigh...if thrifting is my addiction, I have to confess Vintage dishes are my drug of choice. Hi, my name is Cecilia and I'm a dish-aholic :)

Thank God it's thrift Friday, Friends! It's also the first Friday of the new year and after the dreaded task of storing all the Christmas decorations, I was ready to get my thrift on! I bundled up, de-iced the car and headed out!
