Drum roll please... for the 2021 Vintage Charm Feature of the Year:

Congratulations to Shannon @ Wise Little Owl Furniture

Our friend Shannon from Wise Little Owl Furniture is a bold artist. All you need to do is look at her many painted furniture projects to see that, especially this gorgeous ombre provincial dresser makeover. I painted over a similar dresser myself once, but used very traditional paint colors. Shannon, on the other hand, took it to the next level by custom designing and creating her own stunning coral chalk paint dresser. Be sure to drop by to see it and follow along with her fabulous photos and tutorial!

Remember, the Feature of the Year was selected from our Feature of the Month winners. In addition to weekly features, new features will be chosen each month -- link up every Wednesday for your chance to be featured!

VINTAGE CHARM FEATURES OF THE WEEK:

Cecilia’s Pick

Niky from The House on Silverado shared the sweetest bookcase makeover  that she created for her first grandbaby's nursery. I adore the colors and floral paper she chose--isn't it charming? Pay Niky a visit to get more details for her lovely project!

Our friend, Robin, from Junk Is My Life, took a worn out sewing cabinet and turned it into something special. With a little paint, some whimsical new knobs and some elbow grease, she transformed it and gave it a whole new look. Visit Sew Cute to see just what I mean!

Party Guidelines

  • Content: Submit up to three posts that involve vintage finds, crafts, DIYs, or other vintage subject matter. Please do not submit  Etsy or items for sale.
  • Link-back: Be sure to include the Vintage Charm button or a text link back to the party in your linked post. This is mandatory to be featured.
  • Visitation: Please visit other blog posts—after all, that’s what a link up is all about. When pinning, please go to the source of a photo to pin it to Pinterest, so the originator of the post gets the credit.
  • Hostess Love: Consider following each of your party hostesses blogs and/or one or more forms of social media. We love connecting with each of our guests and will be highlighting features on all of our social media.
  • Spread the Word: Consider mentioning Vintage Charm on your social media to help spread the word and make this party a great experience for everyone.
  • Prizes: Keep in mind that each month we will select one of the month’s featured posts to be Featured on all four hostesses blogs. At the end of the year, one of the twelve monthly features will be selected as the Grand Prize Feature of the Year. Prize TBA.
  • Permission: By linking up to Vintage Charm you assert that the photographs are yours (or you have permission to use them), and you give your hostesses permission to feature them on social media or a blog party, with a link back to your blog. You likewise assert that the content of your post is also yours.

  • Our trusted linky party provider, InLinkz, has chosen to upgrade their party format. "So what does this mean for me?" you might ask. It's basically the same as the old format, however, it may look a bit different in its page design. As always you will provide your link, the name of your link and your email address along with a photo. In that respect it's no different than what you've always done. The only other thing you'll need to do is check the box next to : "I agree to the InLinkz terms of service and privacy policy." That's it. if you have any questions or problems with this upgraded format please let either Kathleen or Cecilia know and they'll be happy to help!

    1. Cecilia, Shannon's pick of the year is well-deserved! I so admire her boldness in her choice of color scheme on that dresser. I loved it. Niky's project is a really nice feature for this week, too. 2022's off to a good start with Vintage Charm. Thanks!

    2. I loved seeing your forcing bulb post this week. I've wanted to force amaryllis, but always slow getting things together. Thanks for hosting each week. Take care and enjoy winter!

    5. Hi, Cecelia. Thanks again for hosting this party. Next week I promise to post some fun vintage items, though my dolls and backgrounds are vintage. I guess plants are vintage if they are from 2006...lol. Thanks again, Sandi
