Happy Friday, Friends! I enjoy bringing the outdoors inside year round--especially during the winter months! Today I'll show you how I use fresh, dried, and faux botanicals and fruit to warm up my winter decor. I'm excited to join Amber from Follow the Yellow Brick Home plus eleven of our talented friends for the...
...Winter Botanicals and Gardens blog hop. If you've hopped over after visiting Michelle at Thistle Key Lane, welcome! Don't you love her pretty vignettes? Seasonal allergies (cedar fever) keep me indoors during January, so I crave the added warmth of greenery, flowers, and fragrant dried oranges through the month.
In the kitchen, I created mini botanical bouquets displayed in vintage jadeite vessels. Misting my fresh wreath through the month has kept it from drying out.
On the buffet in my dining room, I styled a botanical vignette combining a variety of botanicals in vintage silver vases.
After receiving an Amazon gift card for Christmas, I treated myself to this lovely amaryllis bouquet. To create a topiary, I bundled the stems together in a mint julep cup.

I love the shape of this fresh succulent that has grown upward to resemble a tiny tree.
Did you notice the String of Hearts with its tiny heart-shaped leaves? It is a cutting from Youngest Daughter's plant and survived a trip home in the suitcase after my October visit to Colorado!
Earlier this month, I shared a winter tablescape featuring Christmas clearance bargains and vintage milk glass.
I continued my dried oranges and greenery theme on the mantel, adding fresh roses and a sweet whimsical bird.
The handmade doily garland makes me think of snowflakes.
I scored the vintage demijohn at a neighbor's yard sale last fall.
I also use lots of candles during the winter...
...and love pairing them with botanicals and fruit, too. See how to create this "cranberries in the snow" candle and Valentine centerpiece, here.
In my bedroom, the fragrance of dried lavender is always soothing.
Even my upcycled vintage chandy gets dressed up with yarn tassel garland and greenery for added texture and warmth.
Winter whites are always welcoming! Next up on the hop is Katie at Let's Add Sprinkles. I know you'll enjoy her lovely winter botanicals!
Be sure to visit the rest of my friends for more creative winter inspiration!
