Happy New Year, Friends! Y'all know my affection for pretty handmade gifts, and once again, I was blessed to receive some beautiful crafted presents from Dear Firstborn, Youngest Daughter, and Ginger Grand. Today I'm sharing some highlights of the lovely gifts I received as well as the Etsy sources...
I'm going to share my fun gifts in the order I received them, beginning with those from Youngest Daughter's family. We opened our gifts via Duo chatting and I was thrilled to receive a hand painted canvas from Ginger Grand and this darling personalized apron they ordered from Etsy. As you can see from my expression, I love them both! (This is not a sponsored post or ad, I'm simply sharing the sources as a courtesy to my readers and the artisans.)
Dear Firstborn created these whimsical cross-stitch hoops featuring herbal puns from patterns she found on Etsy. Aren't they darling?! I adore them!
Until next time, stay safe and healthy!
Wonderful gifts! Your kids are so very thoughtful. Happy New Year, Cecilia.
ReplyDeleteLove the cross stitched hoops......really cute sayings on them too! When I had my gift shop I planted an herb garden on the property for the customers to enjoy. Thyme was planted along with rosemary, lavender, oregano, basil, tarragon, mint and lemongrass. I would often pick some basil and mint to put on my lunch salad, which was so good. Now that I have recently retired, I am planning to plant a small herb garden at my house. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI always forget to sign my comment......this is Lynn in Atlanta. My blog is The Flea Market Lady.
ReplyDeleteThose blues and greens in Ginger Grands flower go so well with colors in your house! Loved the apron and counted cross stitch pictures. I have always loved puns; my son has inherited that (I am blessed with my favorite son and my favorite daughter and have fond memories of them arguing about "Mom loves me best." just to drive me crazy!).
ReplyDeleteI'm so loving each of these gifts Cecilia. The crossed stitch hoops are adorable. Thank you so much for sharing at Charming Homes and Gardens.
