Happy Thursday, Friends! I'm popping in a day early to participate in the Creative Crafts blog hop hosted by Andrea from Design Morsels and Chloe at Celebrate and Decorate! Today I'm sharing a simple candle centerpiece that you can style for winter to Valentine's Day...
Here's what you'll need:
Cranberries
Epsom salt
White candle
Hurricane vase or mason jar
Tray
Small Valentine accents
First add Epsom salt to your vase/jar. (How much you use will depend on the size of your jar and and candle.)
Next, add the candle and then surround it with cranberries, but make sure they are dry. Last, arrange your cranberries in the snow candle on a tray with a few small Valentine accents.

So pretty and easy too Cecilia! I have a bag of cranberries in the freezer too. :) Happy to be hopping with you again ♥

ReplyDeleteThis really makes a perfect spot of color for Valentine's Day. I always have Epsom salts, and, just picked up cranberries that were on sale, so I'm all set to make this!

ReplyDeleteCecilia, You are so right, red cranberries and white epsom salts are a perfect combination for Valentine's day decor! I am already thinking about how I could use those two combinations to make a heart shape in a container! Great idea!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and yet so simple. That's my favorite kind of DIY. You could use this for Christmas too! Thanks for being part of the hop today.
ReplyDeleteLove this for winter decor. I've done it as well, but I also used Epsom salt to coat the cranberries so that they looked frosted and they glistened! xo Kathleen

ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I think I'd add a few drops of essential oil to add fragrance, then throw the Epsoms salts in the tub afterwards! I love making Eppsom bath salts in pretty jars for gifts!
Cecilia, what a simple, but great idea. It looks like a trifle ~ good enough to eat. We can’t have too many ideas for displaying candles. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty centerpiece, I would never have thought to combine cranberries with epson salts! So very clever, thank you for the inspiration.
