Happy Wednesday, Friends! Today I have a simple project you can craft outdoors while enjoying the lovely fall weather...
I came across a photo on Facebook of painted pine cones fashioned as a bouquet of zinnias, here. I was inspired to try my hand at my own bouquet and sunflowers seemed perfect for fall. Plus, I already had a collection of pine cones and yellow spray paint. I applied round stickers to mark the centers of my recreated sunflowers. I borrowed this idea from my friend, Kathleen at Charm Bracelet Diva {at Home} who used similar stickers as a stencil for her adorable polka dot pumpkins.
Once the paint dried, I removed the stickers, painted the centers and arranged a bouquet. Voila!
Here's how I used the leftovers:

ReplyDeleteCute idea Cecilia... love the old black crow too. I think I have some pine cones somewhere that are already cut into flowers ... so they may just get painted. Pine cones are hard to cut so hope I can find these.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration.

Those are adorable, Cecilia. I'm wishing we lived close together...as my husband would say, we'd get in trouble (shopping for projects). Hey, at least this one is inexpensive! I think I'm going to gather pinecones next time we go to the farm!
