My Day Trip to Texas Antique Week Part 1

Thank God it's thrifty Friday Friends! Today I am sharing my recent visit to antique week in Roundtop, Texas.  This was my first time to go and I am excited to share the trip with you--grab a drink, get comfy and come along...

Gorgeous urns and chandeliers
Today's photos are all from the Marburger Farm show.  I can't decide if I am more taken with the elegant chandeliers or the patina of those urns but I found the combination stunning!

Antique furniture

Dinner is served...yes, please! How fabulous is this dining set?

Antique gilded frames

Gorgeous gilded frames--so many choices!

Vintage linen dresses

I was absolutely smitten with these adorable baby girl dresses fashioned from vintage linens by Donna from Lavender & Old Lace. She has been collecting linens for thirty years; a girl after my own heart ;)

lavender postcard sachets

I was drawn to her space by the heavenly scent of these darling postcard inspired lavender sachets.  I picked up several--a few for myself and a few for gifts!

Vintage bird cages

This whimsical display of vintage bird cages immediately caught my eye....

Vintage ironstone

...as did this wonderful wall of ironstone pitchers!

Vintage garden statuary

Divine statuary--I could get used to these in my garden! Love how they used the shutters as a backdrop.

Lemongrass twig mirror

This unique mirror was crafted from lemongrass twigs!

Booth display

Throughout the show, the backs of the booths were staged to perfection.

Bottle cop carousel unicorn

Can you believe this carousel unicorn was created with bottle caps?!

Vintage angel garden statue

This sweet angel was my favorite garden statue but my pockets were not deep enough to bring her home!

Vintage brown transferware

You know I love me some transferware and this lovely collection had me swooning. I hope you enjoyed touring the show with me.  I had a blast browsing and capturing photos and this show definitely provided the wow factor!  I will admit though, the prices were steep so the sachets were my only purchase here.  However, next week I'll be sharing my vintage finds from another show as well as what I learned as a newbie--be sure to drop back by!
Until next time, happy hunting!

  15. I adore Round Top. The show is so HUGE, that it's difficult if not impossible to see it all, so I thoroughly enjoyed seeing what you spotted. I often share photos on my blog, too. Please pop over and take a look when you have time.

    Thanks!
