Countdown to Christmas Eve: Fa La La La Funnel Trees!

Happy Wednesday Friends! Can you believe this week marks 7 Wednesdays until Christmas Eve? Our countdown continues with a simple, festive recreated project--fa la la la funnel trees!

Repurposed funnel Christmas trees

You know how I love to repurpose household items! I found the two metal funnels I used for the silver tree at a yard sale. I couldn't help but think that all they needed was a star to make a funky funnel Christmas tree :) And so my search continued...

Repurposed funnel Christmas trees

I scoured thrift stores and yard sales for weeks and came up with this assortment.  The silvers were good to go but I gave the remaining hodgepodge trio a coat of gold spray paint.  Next, I hot glued them and topped each with .25 stars from a recent estate sale. (By the way, estate sales are a great place to find all types of craft supplies.) I love combining silver and gold but you could paint them to match your holiday decor. Voila--an easy, thrifty, and fun decoration you can make ahead!

In case you missed the rest of the series...
