Deb from Debbie Dabble shares a heart felt tribute mourning the loss of fellow blogger Sally, who hosted the Blue Monday link party. I didn't know Sally, but have read from others how loved she was and how much she will be missed. I so appreciated Deb's poignant post One Last Blue Monday for Smiling Sally and I'm sure you will as well.

Laura from Live.Love.Scrap grabbed my attention with her photo of a vintage Kodak Brownie movie camera that she found at a local jumble. In fact, she and her hubby scored several exceptional vintage finds. Pay Laura a visit to see the other vintage goodies they found on Thrifty Thursday.

Melissa at Dancing Dog Cabin expertly shares her decorating prowess in her post Spring Mantelscape: The Anatomy of a Vignette. Her step-by-step description of the the hows and whys of what make a pleasing mantelscape is all-encompassing and a pleasure to read. Her photos are lovely too, so stop on by, say hello and learn something new in the process.

I always enjoy a collectible that is not only beautiful, but functional as well. Karee at The Vintage Chateau assembled a lovely collection of tiny toothpick holders --perfect at a party for their intended use, but oh so darling when used to hold violets or lily of the valley or those precious child picked dandelions.

I absolutely love repurposed junk projects and Keri from Repurposing Junkie made these delightful junk angels starting with some parts from an old garage door. She has a great eye when it comes to seeing junk possibilities. Pop on over to see how she put these lovelies together.
