TGITF Friends! The weather has been simply gorgeous here and I would swear even the thrift store shelves seem to sense that it is almost spring. I fell in love with this little bird shaped bud vase...
These lovelies were at the bottom of a warehouse stack--can you believe they were .25 each? Needless to say they're keepers and will be added to my vintage transferware wall.
Having never seen anything quite like it, I was captivated by this beaded handmade egg diorma. The sweet angel and attention to detail is stunning. A little online research yielded very similar ones from the 1950s.
I adore milk glass and was thrilled to find a hen to add to my collection.
Is it just me, or are some of these vintage boxes as fun the contents inside? Of course, these party molds are begging to be repurposed!
Have you dropped by our Vintage Charm party? There's still time to link up--now thru Monday morning!
Until next time, happy hunting!

You did make some good scores. Like you, the old packaging is sometimes as good, if not better than the contents. Your little chicken arrived just in time to use for Easter, too!

ReplyDeleteHi Cecilia, I looked on your etsy store for the organic herbs to link to my post 'Best Smelling Sachets' and couldn't find them... could you email me the link? thanks, Liz
ReplyDeleteOh what lovely finds. I can't believe you paid so little for the transfer ware.
ReplyDeleteWonderful finds Cecilia! Love the bird vase and what a fabulous price on the transferware plates. Love everything, but the egg diorama has to be my favorite! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
