The 15 Minute Fix: Bunny in the Cabbage Centerpiece

Happy Wednesday Friends! Ready for another 15 Minute Fix? Today I'm sharing an oh-so-sweet centerpiece and it couldn't be simpler...

When I made my place cards last week, you probably remember they featured a darling little bunny. He's one of a pair and I wanted to feature the other in a centerpiece but since he's so tiny, I also wanted to make sure the spotlight would be on the little guy.  It only took a few items and I couldn't believe how absolutely easy it was to assemble.  I started with this nest like basket from last year's Easter clearance.

I have tons of this shredded paper I received in a gift basket. Since it also looks nest like, I've been using it a lot this spring.  Next, I added a small faux cabbage and nestled the bunny inside. Don't you know he wants to take a bite?  Last, I flipped my cake stand to form a pedestal--easy as 1-2-3!

I found this vintage chick at an estate sale. Pssst....want to know a secret? My cake stands are not vintage jadeite. I found a larger one at Cracker Barrel and this one at World Market, both on sale. They are exactly alike except for the size--a very close green glass to my vintage which blends in nicely and at a fraction of the cost ;)

....and one of the table.  The vintage embroidered tablecloth is another thrifted find--it reminds me of Texas wildflowers.  My spring breakfast table features an assortment of my pastel favorites. In addition to the jadeite, there's aqua edged Hazel Atlas Crinoline, pink Moderntone Platonite and some Fire King Bonnie Blue teacups.
