Greetings Friends! Have you had a relaxing weekend? Spring is officially here so it's the perfect time to share my updated tablescape. Pastel vintage dishes gave me fresh inspiration...
I loved the two colors together and I already had this set of Taylor, Smith & Taylor Boutonniere, scored for .25 each! The flower's center really picks up the rosy shade of the Moderntone. I still only have two of the fabulous aqua Crinoline, but...
...I found these gorgeous floral beauties, Cunningham Pickett Danube, on Etsy for a bargain--LOVE them! Besides, I'm partial to mixing different patterns.
Isn't this lamb sweet? It was 75% off at my favorite thrift store after Christmas. It reminded me of Psalm 23, so I added the first verse with scrabble tiles and some fragrant garden herbs for a sweet and simple centerpiece.
Below is a view of the table with my recent upcycle hanging above.
Did you notice my flatware pockets? I made them from a vintage tablecloth. It was a thrifted find and so pretty but had several stains. I bet you have one like that ;) I'll be sharing a tutorial on these soon!
Do you enjoy freshening up your decor for spring?
MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING FOR FEATURING THIS POST:

Cecilia ... love how all the colors bounce off each other. Amazing that you were able to match colors. Love the flatware pockets and your pretty white charges are so perfect for your Easter table. I am so inspired ... I think I should get busy and set a Spring table. Enjoy this beautiful day.

Very pretty. I really like the different patterns on the smaller plates. Adds so much depth to your setting. It would be nice to sit at your pretty table.

ReplyDeleteHow beautiful your table looks. Colorful and Springy !!! We recently moved and most of our furniture didn't fit in our new decor. We did buy a new couch and 2 chairs. We also were able to use our old end tables and our sofa table but most of all the rest came from thrift shopping. It started with a wicker trunk we use as a coffee table and went from there. We love trifting and feel like it is searching for buried treasure !!! Blessings
ReplyDeleteLovely!
