Over the mantel is a lacy basket sign that I crafted from a vintage runner and a round placemat I scored from Target's dollar spot several years ago. I added a sprig of fresh lamb's ear from my garden--I love using the soft silvery leaves in my autumn decor.
Most of my vintage furniture has been lovingly upcycled from castaway finds. I love decorating with vintage pieces from my thrifted collections and handmade accents.
I mixed an assortment of handmade velvet and DIY succulent pumpkins to create a pastel hued centerpiece.
...here you can see my simple yet elegant fall tablescape styled with cherished vintage dishes.
Just to the left near my front door, is the stack of vintage luggage that doubles as storage. My favorite is the 1950's Samsonite Bermuda green set that I scored for $4!
Let's move on to the living room. You can read more about my thrifted furnishings, here.
You can look here to create handmade candles from leftover remnants. By the way, have you met my handsome head vase, Leonardo?
