Happy Monday, Friends! I have always been drawn to pretty egg cups and y'all know I love flowers. For today's 15 minute fix--which can actually be arranged in about 5--I'll show you how I repurposed my latest lovely finds to create beautiful mini bouquets...
I am so smitten with these pretty little egg cups I scored on clearance. Need egg cups? Try these:

I started my mini bouquets by gathering some herbs and lamb's ear from the garden. The cups are quite shallow, so I cut several options to see which would work best.
Small rosemary sprigs and lamb's ear are perfect and I added some fragrant honeysuckle to this one. (Look here for lamb's ear!)
Then I used a tiny pink rose for this aqua cup. (Find pink rosebuds here.)
Next, I arranged dried eucalyptus and a succulent in this deeper, pale pink cup.
Which is your favorite?
These are so precious, Cecilia, and so many fun ways to use them. I LOVE Lambs Ear too. It's crazy here; very prolific little plant!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I have an egg cup collection of over 300, I've lost count.
ReplyDeleteEvery design, shape you can think of, even an airplane but in all that I don't have any that look like the three of yours. :) I blew some eggs out and broke open the large end bigger and put little flowers in them and put them in egg cups and I set them out for decorations on Easter. Love egg cups. My grandparents were from England and they always used egg cups at breakfast. I have my grandfathers favorite cup that he used.
Adorable Cecilia and such a great idea! I just love the succulent in the white one. I am pinning it today. Too cute and I don't want to forget it before I pack them away in my spring bins next year!
ReplyDeleteHoneysuckle and lambs ear! All three are pretty! I so enjoy your designs. Off to gather some egg cups!
ReplyDeleteI loved your egg cups. I loved the flower/herb combos, too. I used egg cups and shot glasses for short stemmed bouquets (violets and dandelions especially) when my kids were little. They make a lovely touch on a nightstand, too. 'Specially a guest room.
