Hi there, Friends! Mother's Day falls early this year, so today I am hosting a creative group of friends and we're sharing an assortment of garden-themed inspiration for the occasion. Whether you are blessed to celebrate with your mom or want to honor the special women in your life, join us...
Mother's Day and flowers go hand-in-hand! Today I'm sharing an assortment of gifts from the garden, including several bouquets in various vessels that will be treasured after the flowers fade, like this whimsical head planter. The popular vases have gained popularity since Anthropology started selling them, but I found "Leonardo" several years ago on clearance at Target. (I'll include some links for several others at the bottom of the post.)
Consider arranging a colorful bouquet of garden blooms in an unexpected container like this silver coffee tin.
Maybe you know a mom who would love to receive seeds. Here are several of my faves!
Upcycled Seed Tins are a fun gift for gardeners.
Create vintage tea cup bouquets!
TIP: I find most of my pretty tea cup sets at thrift stores!

... use the same technique to transform a plain pillow!

Love these fabulous gift ideas so much, Cecilia! You always have such a pretty knack for incoprating beautiful flowers into your home. I'm definitely going to make some teacup arrangements and I'm obsessed with your herb hanger too - that is so creative! Thanks so much for including me in this blog hop and for putting it all together. I really appreciate it. Hugs, CoCo
ReplyDeleteI love all your ideas of Mothers Day!!! I'm all about the garden so I'll be honest, it's hard to pick just one!!! Thanks so much for organizing a wonderful blog hop!
ReplyDeleteThis was such a fun blog post Cecilia. You have given me so many amazing ideas, but I think my favorite is the tea cup bouquets. Thank you for all the inspiration and for hosting this great blog hop.
ReplyDeleteI loved your ideas! Al takes care of his 90 year old mother who has dementia 2 days a week. Last night I picked a big bouquet of daffodils with a few tulips (It's what I had) and sent them with him in a large instant coffee jar. They graced our supper table. Last year for Mother's Day, my daughter and I went to the same greenhouse/nursery and bought each other a large fuschia--the blooms were different colors but otherwise they were the same! Two great minds, I guess!
ReplyDeleteLove these creative hand-crafted garden-inspired gift ideas, Cecilia! And that lotion looks wonderful; definitely going to check that out! Thanks for hosting this fun, themed hop!
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful ideas! I love all the herb-related gifts especially. I would be happy to give or receive any of these pretty gifts for Mother's Day!
