Hi there, Friends! Today I'm sharing a 15 minute fix for the garden as part of the Creative Crafts blog hop hosted by Chloe at Celebrate and Decorate and Andrea from Design Morsels. Some of you may already have the supplies to craft this baluster birdhouse tucked in a shed or hiding in the garage, or maybe like me, you have a little corner of the garden designated for to-do projects...
If you've hopped over after visiting Liberty at B4 and Afters, welcome! Some of you may remember this upcycled birdhouse from my spring garden tour. Below, I've shared a few different looks--there are so many possibilities!
I scored the birdhouses and balusters at a yard sale a few summers back. The balusters were nestled against some potted plants by my backdoor for some time to "remind" me to get to the project--does anyone else do that?
Are you ready for my step-by-step tutorial? Here you go:

1. Hot glue the birdhouse to the baluster & remove any lingering glue strings.
2. Find just the right spot to display it in your garden!

Great project and great pops of color. Birds eat so many bugs that having a birdhouse is common sensical in a garden!
ReplyDeleteThis is certainly a sweet and simple project, and ads so much charm to your garden! I will have to keep my eye out for some decorative balusters. Thanks so much for hopping with us!
ReplyDeleteCecilia, what a great idea for reusing two totally different things. So simple, but I’m sure a wonderful addition to the backyard.
