How to Craft a Rosy Posy

Happy Thursday, Friends! I'm popping in on Thursday instead of Friday this week to join the monthly Creative Crafts blog hop hosted by Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate and Andrea at Design Morsels. As I promised, today I'll show you how to craft a pretty rosy posy...

You can craft two posies from one paper doily placemat. You'll also need scissors and glue dots or double-sided tape.

Ready to make your own? Start by folding the doily in half, then cut it on the fold. Next, beginning at the corner, roll it into a cone shape, and secure at the tip, side, and back with glue dots or double-sided tape. Last, fill your posy with rosy garden blooms and herbs!

  9. Cecilia, I love this vintage-inspired, easy gift idea for small bunches of flowers! Often times, there aren't enough fresh flowers or herbs to create large arrangements of bouquets from my garden, but these would make the perfect size wrappers! I love giving fresh scented clusters of herbs including lavender, basil, rosemary and chamomile.

  10. I love how simply you did the post without words. Everything should be so easy. The strong red and green against that white is just so pretty!

  11. Well that is nice and simple-- something anyone can do-- even for people who may not consider themselves to be crafty! I'm going to save this for a future project I'm working on.
