Happy Monday, Friends and welcome to the Fall Tablescape blog hop hosted by Chloe, from Celebrate and Decorate! Recently, I shared that due to the warm climate here in Texas, it will be awhile before fall plants and decor start to make an appearance. I usually take cues from nature to make the slow transition to our Texas autumns. Apples are a natural choice, and for today's tablescape, I've paired them with pieces from my jadeite collection....
I kept the place setting simple layering jadeite with white dinner plates. The teacups are filled with apple cider and garnished with cinnamon sticks. It's beginning to smell like fall!
I created a centerpiece by arranging apples on a cake stand with a cinnamon stick "bouquet" in the sugar dispenser Youngest Daughter gave me in the center. Different textures like burlap wrapped candle votives trimmed with velvet ribbon add warmth.
On the opposite side, I added a vintage rolling pin for a touch of whimsy.
I continued the apple theme on the mantel along with a vintage pie bird.

Cecilia, I am as crazy for jadeite today as I was 20 yrs ago. Your collection shines with the apples and cider displayed! Love the little sugar shaker addition of the newer piece too, and all the supporting elements on the table and mantel. Very nice! It's still very hot here in WV too, but the hills are starting to look like fall.
