Repurposed Paper Pumpkins!

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Last weekend I attended a church rummage sale and scored some freebies.  Can you guess what kind of paper my repurposed project is?

No, it's not toilet paper--though from the angle of the photo, that's a reasonable guess! It's actually old school adding machine paper and when I saw a box of it at the sale, I imagined recreated pumpkins.  Once I got home, I came up with this hodgepodge for accessorizing:

Supplies to make repurposed paper pumpkins

I had a plan, but first to cover the ends. I found this sticker paper at the dollar store--the only purchase I made for the project! I used the adding machine roll as a pattern and traced around the ends.

Here you can see it attached and the "stem" fashioned from the knob of a shower curtain hook. The burlap leaf was left over from another project, originally from Michael's dollar bins.

I painted the candlestick as a stem for the larger pumpkin and added lace and pearl stickers I had on hand to prettify my little pumpkin patch.  I chose to keep a neutral palette, since white pumpkins are my favorite.  If you've been busy thrifting, repurposing or flipping your finds...
