Happy Wednesday Friends! Today I have a snazzy little project to bring some glam to your washer and dryer--no painting or heavy lifting required...
For the past week, I've been on a mission to revamp my tiny laundry room once and for all. It is coming along nicely and I'll be sharing the reveal on Sunday. In the meantime, I wanted to give you a sneak peek and show you how I transformed my Plain Jane washer and dryer.
I found these fabulous decals on Etsy. I had never seen appliance decals before. Could they be any cuter? I chose gold, but Jenny offers 20 other colors & prompt shipping too--I ordered on Tuesday and they arrived Saturday. They are reasonable and even the stripes are easy to apply. I am usually challenged when it comes to applying straight lines of any fashion! I used painters' tape below each stripe as a guide. I hadn't worked with this type of vinyl before, but they were easy to reposition when needed. {If polka dots and stripes are not your cup of tea, I've included some links for other choices at the bottom of the post!}
Once I applied stripes above and below the dryer door...

...I cut minis for the edges. Then I added the polka dots to the washer--love the results!
I am so tickled with my $20 washer and dryer bling! Be sure to come back Sunday to see the rest of the redo and how I finally solved my storage issues in this tiny room! in this small multipurpose room!
MY HEARTFELT THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING FOR FEATURING THIS POST:
