Greetings Friends! I have always enjoyed setting a pretty table for outdoor dining. As promised, here's the brunch I prepared for my kids' recent visit....
I kept the table setting simple, starting with this recently thrifted lace table cloth. Dear Firstborn takes great pleasure in teasing me about my little dish addiction, so I pulled out this older set. Long before I started collecting vintage, I found these at Ross years ago. I was drawn to the colorful geranuim pattern--happy dishes!
For an easier clean up, I wrapped the flatware in paper napkins. The adorable grasshopper napkin rings were a gift from Favorite Son--a Mother's Day past. I served fresh strawberries and blackberries....
...and made lavender mimosas, while the sleepyheads snoozed!
I wanted to wait until they were up to make my signature French toast but I've included the link to the recipe at the end of the post. It was a beautiful morning, so I savored a mimosa while I waited--Cheers!
