Repurposed Napkin Ring Mini Wreaths

Happy Thursday, Friends! Can you believe today is the final Creative Craft Blog Hop of the year? I'm sharing a thrifty repurpose that you can create in minutes and use a variety of ways during the holidays. Join me to see how simple it is to craft these mini wreaths from clearance napkin rings

If you hopped over after visiting Gail at Purple Hues and Me, welcome! Am I the only one who is drawn to napkin rings but rarely uses them on napkins? I scored these during last season's Christmas clearance sales and loved the realistic looking faux greenery. After repurposing them as miniature wreaths, I've already found several ways to feature them in my holiday decor and I bet you will, too!

Here's what you'll  need:
Christmas greenery napkin rings
Optional: copper paint

First: I gave my craft bells two coats of paint because I really wanted a copper finish. However, if you prefer bronze or silver bells, you can skip the first step. Last: Use narrow velvet ribbon to tie the bell to the wreath, allowing enough to finish with a bow. That's all there is to it! The first three photos are a sneak peak from the holiday home tour that I'll be sharing at the end of the month. Below, you can see a mini wreath featured in the Christmas tablescape I'll be sharing the first week of December. They make lovely hostess gifts as well as charming gift wrapping trim. How will you use yours?

  1. I love the copper finish on your bell; such a pretty update to traditional decor. These really are a perfect hostess gift and would also be lovely to gift wrap so I'd choose both :)

  2. What am amazing find from last season! I never use napkin rings either but would have definitely snatched those up as well for mini wreath. Now I will be looking for some at the end of this season. You recreated this into such pretty works of art.

  11. I didn't think of the color as copper, I thought of it as rose gold which I think is lovely with the blush pink! I, too, upcycle clearance napkin rings. I have pulled the succulents off the jute wrapped rings, "planted" the succulents in a pot with others, then embellished the napkin ring and used it as a dollhouse wreathe! I have made endless end tables, footstools, and large plant pots with wooden and wire napkin rings, too!
