Happy Monday, Friends! Have you ever tried couscous? After cooking it for the first time last month, I've made it several times! It may surprise you that unlike risotto, it only takes about 15 minutes to prepare and it's very tasty...
To make couscous, you simply add it to the liquid mixture you prepare, remove from the heat, and allow it to sit for 10 minutes. There's no fussy standing over the stove and stirring and the lemon juice makes it so flavorful!
Here's What You'll Need:
2/3 cup Israeli couscous
1 cup vegetable broth
1 T butter
2 T lemon juice
3 T chopped cilantro
Start by melting the butter in the vegetable broth and allowing it to come to a low boil. Next, add the lemon juice and cilantro.
Then, stir in the couscous, making sure it is coated in the liquid mixture, and remove from the heat. Last, cover and allow to sit for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving. Enjoy!
Pinned, yum.
