Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! There's just something so charming about a handmade retro apron--today I'm sharing two of these vintage beauties I scored at an estate sale...
Don't you love the rick rack trim? Brown floral apron AVAILABLE HERE!
Both aprons are small for a petite woman or girl. (Check listings for measurements.) Multicolored floral apron AVAILABLE HERE!
Embroidered "L" Monogram Linen Hankie AVAILABLE HERE!
Until next time, stay safe and healthy!
I love those old aprons. The rickrack trim alone makes them so darling and special, but the vintage feels they stir up are even better. Have a great weekend, Cecilia.
ReplyDeleteThose aprons brought back great memories! My mom used to make aprons for the church Christmas bazaar; espeacially the organza ones with metallic braid trim--absolutely useles--but the ladies' wore them when it was their turn to host a monthly club meeting during refreshments. We had a mill a few towns away where you could buy "seconds" of braid by the pound! I remember my Babci's (Polish for grandmother) bib aprons--complete with knife slits across the bosom from cutting huge Jewish rye breads from the bakery with the knife coming towards her!
