  1. Congratulations! Those reverse canvas ornaments are clever, how big are they? I like the farmhouse style. I begin Christmas decorating on the Friday after Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving best, and want to give it all its due before moving to the next holiday on the calendar.

What an honor! And thank you for doing the giveaway. We decorate right after Thanksgiving.I have collected far too many decorations in the midcentury style from my early childhood. we decorate with shiny brites and other genuine items from the times mixed with reproductions.

  3. What a great idea!! I actually have a few of these that I intended on painting, but I like this idea better.
My oldest bother, who passed away 4 years ago, was born on December 5th and my mom never wanted to take away from his birthday so she waited until after the 5th to start decorating. I have carried on that tradition with my kids as well, so we can honor and remember my awesome brother.- Shannon lizemgraceali8@gmail.com

  4. Love the little canvas signs. I may have to make those. I love Christmas the best so you know I can't wait to get started decorating. I will however wait until the day after Thanksgiving. I change my decorations on the tree every year. I'm thinking vintage this year. Thanks for the great ideas. Tammy

  5. How cute are those canvas's . They remind me of the stitched frame dies for paper crafting. I would never have thought of turning them to the back. I like to decorate so that its done by the 1st of Dec. Its a lot of work and like to enjoy it for as long as possible. I am like Leslie commented. My tree always has the ornaments from the 30's,40's,50's era. I have ornaments from my grandmothers, mother. It also has colored lights--none of the white lights, they don't speak Christmas to me. Also I hang copious amounts of icicles, the kind we had back in the 40's--not those clingy ones of today, and they must all be put on one by one. This is how my mother did her tree and my sister and I both decorate our trees the same. Oh and of course there is always a glittery paper house village underneath. When you turn out the lights and turn on the tree its pure magic. All the colors of the shiny ornaments and the reflection from the colored lights on them--yep, magic --and you believe in Santa all over again!

  6. Now that I live in a forest in the White Mountains of NH, I am able to chose a tree from our own woodland. I also can cut branches from our evergreens to make wreaths, place other evergreens around our home to bring the natural aspect of the holiday season inside. I would love a copy of the magazine if I am chosen.

  7. I love Christmas decorating. Can't wait to pull out my turquoise and silver ornaments. I prefer a real tree but since I hate to clean up pine needles, I chose a pre lit faux tree from QVC, which has baby's breath interspersed among the branches. Would love to be a recipient of Country Sampler. Love that magazine!

  8. Congrats on being featured. What I love about those little canvases is that they could be reversible--a picture or another word on the "real" side! My decorations are traditional--2 Nativity sets, old and new tree decorations (still have 37 yo daughter's foot "reindeer" with finger antlers on a clothespin); I start after Thanksgiving. Didn't put outdoor Nativity set out last year; want to get that done--those stairs are getting worse with arthritic knees!

  10. Thank you for this giveaway. We always have a live tree that touches the ceiling. We have many old decorations. One ball is from my maternal grandmother. We have an artificial tree in every room but the bathroom. Last year I purchased a small one and decorated it with mostly gingerbread ornaments.

  12. These are so cute! You can even get the mini canvas at Dollar Tree if you can't find them thrifting!
For my decor, I love love doing all vintage! I've been collecting vintage ornaments for a few years now and have a pretty big collection of old Shiney brights I absolutely love! Some don't make it onto the tree, so I've made a wreath with them so far! Maybe a garland next, lol! Love Country Sampler... But let my subscription lapse over the last year. I keep debating on changing my Primitive decor to Farmhouse or a Shabby French cottage look, but with a ten yr old boy, I'm still afraid of all that white! Lol

  15. We don't celebrate Christmas, but we do enjoy having ornaments in our house year 'round. We like birds - ceramic, glass, metal, paper, big and little...all kinds. Even though we don't decorate in the traditional sense, I could get all kinds of ideas from the give-away publication! rush88888 at gmail dot com
