For the Love of Vintage Jadeite: Sharin' O' the Green Blog Hop

Happy Monday, Friends! Welcome to the Sharin' O' the Green Blog Hop hosted by Amber, at Follow the Yellow Brick Home! Of course, nothing says "green" to me quite like my vintage jadeite collection! Whether you go all-out for St. Patrick's Day or are just itching to add some spring greenery after the winter months, join me for inspiration from 18 blogger friends...

If you hopped over from Decor to Adore, isn't Laura's front garden lovely? Bringing fresh greenery indoors is one of my favorite ways to decorate year round. Here, I've paired fresh garden thyme with a vintage jadeite creamer.

If you've been here before, you're probably familiar with my collection which faces my back door and is the first thing I see when I come home. I started my collection about 7 years ago. With the exception of a few pieces I picked up traveling, I scored most of it at thrift stores. Since then, the prices have really increased and it's much harder to come by in thrift stores. The majority of my collection is vintage Fire-King. However, I occasionally mix in newer reproduction pieces. It's been interesting to see World Market and now even Target's Hearth and Hand collection by Joanna Gaines add some repro pieces.

The wall display over the potting stand I repurposed as a hutch remains pretty constant, but I do enjoy styling the collection for different seasons.

Over the years, I've created many spring vignettes featuring my jadeite, but this is the first time I was inspired (by Amber's idea for the blog hop) to create a St. Patrick's Day vignette. My wee leprechaun was a thrift store find.

I purchased this festive vintage label from Melissa's Antiques during one of her Instagram sales.

I always have bundles of organic rosemary hanging somewhere in the house! The small shamrock and harp bowl (behind the leprechaun) and this Blarney Castle plate are both vintage from Ireland and are AVAILABLE HERE!

My $1 thrifted vintage school chalkboard hangs on the opposite wall. {See how to stencil a chalkboard, here!}

  13. Wow your Jadeite collection is so amazing and I always love seeing it. Your St. Patrick's Day vignette is so adorable!

    Fresh organic rosemary...sighs...just today I was wanting some to make a fresh simmer while I was doing some spring cleaning. My rosemary barely weathers the winter, so I don't have any fresh sprigs right now but it will probably come back once the weather warms up.

    Thanks so much for sharin' your green treasures for this hop. Happy early almost spring!
