Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! Just in case you haven't been here before, my name is Cecilia and I'm a dishaholic! It's true, but honestly who could pass on these gorgeous Spode plates? I know my kindred dish addicts out there will understand! If dishware doesn't tempt you, rest assured. Not all of this week's fabulous finds are plates but they are all beautiful vintage blues...
I couldn't believe when I scored this set of four plates in perfect condition for less than $5--in a pattern I haven't seen before!
Part of the Spode Blue Room Collection, they are reproductions from the Sunflower pattern first introduced in 1813. SInce I wasn't familiar with the pattern, I was surprised to see find they are slightly rare and are fetching higher prices than other Spode dishes I've found. Sticking to my sell more and keep less mantra, I'm listing these and the set is AVAILABLE HERE!
Love the intense blue of the Spode plates.
