Drum roll please..... for the September Feature of the Month:
Congratulations to Roxanne @ The Honeycomb Home!
Roxanne over at The Honeycomb Home, along with her husband, built an incredible DIY Custom Fireplace Surround for a vintage chippy shabby fireplace mantel. Then they put it all together and installed it as a gorgeous, decorative focal point in their living room--and it looks so real! You've got to stop over and see this beauty, as well as Roxanne's detailed instructions and tips on how to DIY it for yourself. Thank you, Roxanne!

Vintage Charm Features of the Week:
Cecilia’s Pick
I'm constantly amazed by the clever projects that Claire from Pillar Box Blue, is able to whip up out of recycled denim. She's done it again and shared an absolutely darling Denim and Sweater Upcycled Wreath that she created from scrap fabric! Pay Claire a visit to see how you can make one, too!
Kathleen’s Pick
Kim from Exquisitely Unremarkable has the right idea--keep your DIY seasonal decor projects inexpensive and easy! She realized that cutting up a pumpkin to use as a vase was a whole lot of work and mess, so she used the next best thing--a Thrifted Cookie Jar Pumpkin Vase! I think I even have the same one she used. Guess I'll be digging mine out of storage so I can make one of these beautiful fall floral arrangements for myself! Genius, Kim!

Cecelia, I always enjoy your projects and with I had the knack for bringing old things back to life. Thanks for all your hard work in hosting the Vintage Charm Party.
ReplyDeleteHi Cecelia, I am participating the first time in your blog party (link up # 16, Treasures from England: White and Blue China) so I would like to introduce myself. My name is Christina and I love vintage and antique china and other items. I was very pleased when I found your blog and your blog party and enjoyed reading about your and other people's find. I am writing a garden blog with the name Organic Garden Dreams, but occasionally I am branching out into other subjects that are dear to me like my travels to England, dogs, English Afternoon Tea and Vintage and Antique treasures.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting this party. I am sure I will be a regular guest either actively participating or "just" as a reader.
Warm regards,
Christina
Thanks so much for the feature! What a lovely way to start a Thursday! :)
