Happy Wednesday, Friends! Since Easter is this weekend, I'm squeezing in one more 15 Minute Fix. Whether you are expecting guests like I am, or relaxing with your family, this quickie project is sure to bring a smile!
I found these adorable bunny cut outs a few years ago in the Dollar Spot at Target. Originally I planned to make a bunny banner, but somehow other projects always came first and before I knew it, I was out of time before Easter. Besides, as you've probably noticed there are already a lot of cute bunny banners out there. Determined to make use of their cuteness, I decided to make place cards for the Easter brunch I'm hosting in the garden.
Using the printed designs as a guide, I just raided my craft stash and started dressing the little bunnies in their Sunday best. All of the embellishments I used were from the bargain bins at Michael's. Sometimes they mark the craft supplies down even lower and that's when I stock up so I have them for projects just like this. I used glue dots to attach everything. The pink bunnies were decked out with rosebuds and daisy trim collars...
...while the blue bunnies received pom-pom cotton tails and bow ties. Then I used metallic gold stickers to personalize all of them. This would also be a fun project to craft with little ones.
I've had these lovely daisy plates for several years. I found them on clearance at Target and was really surprised when I picked them up expecting them to be stoneware and they were plastic, which makes them perfect for outdoor dining. The tablecloth was another Target clearance find and I'll be using both for brunch in the garden with Favorite Son, and my mother and stepfather. Once you've finished celebrating with loved ones on Easter Sunday, drop by to see more details!

ReplyDeleteOH my goodness, these are too darn cute! I might have to make these too, although I don't think my Aunt does place cards...darn. Cute as always.
ReplyDeleteThese are SO cute! The flowers are adorable but those little bunny tails really get me!
ReplyDeleteSo clever ... love the little bunnies and they are so perfect with you plates. Gold lettering is a nice touch and I am not much of a "gold person". I think I saw some of those bunnies when we were at Target during Bob's stay in the Heart Hospital in San Antonio, but with all that was going on, I could not even think about Easter. Enjoy your family.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Audrey
