Thyme to Be Grateful Fall Tablescape

Hi there, Friends! One of my biggest priorities is to consistently cultivate a heart of gratitude, which is especially meaningful during the fall season. Not only is there the anticipation of Thanksgiving, but the celebration of autumn harvest seems to encourage a grateful heart. Today I'm sharing my tablescape and embracing a thyme to be grateful...

Of course I'm keeping it thrifty, so I've gathered my upcycled dollar store pumpkins, a thrifted flower frog arranged with wheat, and more thyme from the garden. You may remember my repurposed vintage platter chalkboard from a previous post. While I've created tablescapes featuring brown transferware, and also paired jadeite with red transferware, this is the first time I've combined brown transferware with jadeite. I rather like it!

In fact, I used two different transferware patterns. I found a pair of the Johnson Brothers Devonshire pattern, pictured below at the the 100 mile yard sale.

Other than the dishes, I kept the color palette mostly neutral, drawing from the burlap accents and the pretty detail of this yard sale tablecloth.

These sweet little luncheon napkins are also from my thrifted collection.

Remember these tiny cornucopias? The set I found was quite large, so there are still some available here. I painted mine white and filled them with thyme. I bring out my burlap flatware pockets every fall. You can see where I originally found them here.

  14. Your table and way you combined dishes is very pretty. I love Jadeite. Had lot more I collected in MT and KY but dropped a box of some of favorite pieces, oh darn it. No place to show them so have few pieces left in my buffet. They stay safe there.
Your transferware is lovely. When we lived in KY there was alot available at affordable prices, stupid me wasn't interested then.
    Enjoy your Fall weekend
