Smitten!

Greetings Friends! Today we're taking a little visit to one of my favorite Fredericksburg stores, Smitten

Smitten makes its home in a charming old house and the front porch is a panoply of vintage treasures.

These unique pumpkins were deceptively light weight.  They appeared to be cement until I went to pick one up. Upon closer inspection, I saw the textured effect was created with gravel.

I was tempted to bring that rusty squirrel home with me!

 Once inside, the front entry was a showcase of fall splendor.

One of the best things about the shop is every nook and cranny features swoon worthy inspiration--like that fabulous Farmhouse Love display!

You never know what you'll find in the cozy kitchen.  Love these felted acorns!

Sweet little woodland deer make the perfect display on a gray splatterware cake stand.

I adore the fabric on these fun feedsack pillows.

Little red truck hauling a scrap metal tree--yes, please! This reminded me of Cecilia @The B Farm :)

Last year, I picked up some of these frosty pinecones.  They have a wonderful assortment.

This time I bought these rustic birch slices.  I have plans for them ;) {Update: see how I used them here.}

Sarah told me this was phase one of three of the Christmas decor--can't wait to see the rest. Pretty sure I'll be making another stop by during the holiday season.  Hope you enjoyed the tour!
