Hello Friends! I have to tell you about a fun Ornament Exchange I joined. Vicky at Life on Willie Mae Lane hosted and though I am sure it was no easy task, she even had participants fill out questionnaires to match us! Thank you Vicky...and thank you Ann who sent my two lovely ornaments. She so thoughtfully picked out the pretty golden dove and shimmering acorns to complement my Secret Garden inspired tree. Plus, she sent the sweetest card and we have already exchanged emails--the perfect way to usher in the holidays! Ann is not a blogger but we plan to keep in touch...
Yesterday was a very productive day at estate sales--so much so that I rushed home to get my awesome finds on Etsy so I could share them with any of you who may still be shopping for Vintage goodies! Just click on the photos...
I was instantly smitten with this adorable trio of tumbling snowmen: SOLD
This whimsical little Christmas elf and deer are stamped and numbered Lefton... SOLD
...and here's another sweet Deer pair: Available
This jolly St. Nick is just over 3" tall, but he has exquisite detailing! Available
Isn't this festive table cloth gorgeous? I was tempted to keep it ;) Available
This cozy flannel stocking is as cute as can be...
...on both sides! SOLD
Last but not least, a handmade quilted angel that would make a lovely display year round!
Thanks for stopping by--have a wonderful weekend!

Hello dear Cecilia! I am smiling to see that you and I received the same gold dove - isn't she a beauty?! And your shimmering acorns are simply lovely - I bet they look very pretty on the Christmas tree with the lights twinkling.

ReplyDeleteCecilia, I just love these vintage ornaments. They are so cute!!! Reminds me of my childhood. I sent Stephanie the same dove!
ReplyDeleteAnd I want to say thanks again for my ornaments. I do love them! Each time I glance up at the tree, the first ornament that catches my eye is the little pillow that says 'Christmas is in the heart'. I immediately think of you and hope you have a very Merry Christmas! :)

ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed seeing this earlier, but please forgive me! I have been sick...in fact I am up now on a work night coughing at 3 AM! Anywho, I love the ornaments Ann sent. Those acorns are just beautiful! Your tree is lovely. I hope you have a blessed and beautiful Christmas Cecilia! And, thanks again for joining the exchange.
