Thank God it's thrifty Friday, Friends! June was a great month for estate sales! First, I found this fabulous jadeite batter bowl--which I did not previously have in my collection--for 50% off and I was thrilled, but wait...there's more and the rest was all 75% off
This vintage Jeannette shell-ribbed Depression glass mixing bowl was originally part of a nesting set manufactured in the 1930s. I scored it for $3.75!
This large vintage Pyrex measuring cup is a little timeworn but I love the green-lettered version compared to the more common red one and I will use it with love. ($1.50)
Fifty cents for a classic wine carafe? Yes, please!
Although these pretty pink vintage bowls were manufactured in France during the '80s, they match my pink Depression glass beautifully and I scored the set of 6 for $1.50!
Last but not least, a sweet little covered dish bunny! That's it for the glassware finds, but stay tuned--next month I'll be sharing the rest of my haul from this 75% off estate sale!
Until next time, happy hunting!
Love those pink bowls! xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteCecilia, Love the beautiful colored glass you found at the estate sale. Can't wait to see your other finds! - Patty
ReplyDeleteWow! You found so many amazing pieces! The jadeite batter bowl is fantastic and a great addition for your collection. The green pyrex measuring cup was actually part of my wedding registry. We have the nesting 4 cup, 2 cup and 1 cup. Williams Sonoma carried the Pyrex set in green and blue in the late 90s when we got married. I always check to see if they bring it back but haven't seen it. Love all the green, but the pink is great too! XO- MaryJo
ReplyDeleteGreat finds at great prices, Cecilia. I've never seen a Pyrex measuring cup in green, but that bunny...steals my heart!
