Hi there, Friends! Today, I'm joining over 20 bloggers for the Christmas Tablescape tour hosted by my dear friend Rita at Panoply. So pull up a chair to my nature-inspired table and let's dish...
If you've hopped over after visiting Ann from Corner of Plaid and Paisley, welcome! Last week I shared some cozy handmade accents from my kitchen in my vintage Christmas decor home tour. Today, you'll notice more of my vintage decor in the dining room paired with simple greenery and nature-inspired accents.
When I scored these charming Corelle dishes at a thrift store over the summer, I knew immediately that I would use them for my next Christmas tablescape. The Calloway Holiday pattern was manufactured in 2000 and was one I hadn't seen before. I was instantly drawn to the ivy tree in the urn, sweet ribbons, and cardinals.
I love decorating with groups of three and scored both the trio of wreaths and the snow-dusted trees on clearance at Hobby Lobby last year after the holidays.
Joyeux Noel!
A sprig of fragrant rosemary complements each place setting.
Candlelight from metallic votive holders creates a festive mood.
Here's another peek at the mantel through the chandy...
...and a bird's-eye view of the table.
For those of you wondering Where's the jadeite?, I paired it with a vintage bottle rack to create a simple cocoa bar. Sprinkles, anyone?
I also highlighted my collection in my Christmas tour last week.

Cecilia, those Christmas Corelle plates were a great find. Like you, I've never seen that pattern before. They work well with your nature table theme, the frosted trees, wreaths, and the green with white pinecone etched glasses. The photo of the mantel through the chandelier looks great. I love photos like that :)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas hugs,

I adore your white trees! And your plates are so pretty, too! Did you fill the little vials with cocoa, etc yourself, or buy them that way? Love that idea! Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteThe ivy trees are an adorable take on traditional Christmas trees! They're set off perfectly by the natural greenery. And I love the green votives! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThose Corelle Christmas plates are such a fabulous find. Love the design. The frosted trees look so festive. Love the wreaths on the wall. The view of your mantel is priceless. I also love the overhead shot of your pretty table. Your Jadeite collection is so pretty. The cocoa bar is perfect with how you set it up. I will take some sprinkles. Happy holidays Cecilia.
ReplyDeleteAw! Your table is so pretty, and I first notice all the pretty winter whites. I love whites this time of the year because, like the flocking on your trees. it reminds me of snow! Your jadite hot chocolate bar is perfect for Christmas. What a nice collection you have! Your mantel with the typewriter is so cute...I need to share that with my daughter who's a writer. She will love that idea!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

Beautiful Cecilia! I love the pretty plates you found and the soft greens and snowy trees. The typewriter and wreaths on the fall are a wonderful touch, and your Jadite cocoa bar is adorable! I wish you a very Merry holiday season!

Cecilia, what a lovely and festive table setting. I would have never guessed the plates were Corelle; assumed they were some very expensive china. So pretty! They look great paired with the stripe linens and greenery. And what a good idea to add the scent of rosemary to the table. You’ve inspired me to tuck branches into my evergreen centerpiece. Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteThose are the sweetest plates with the little red birds. I love the birds eye view of your table. It is always fun to see you use your pretty Jadeite. Love all your pieces and the cute cocoa bar.
ReplyDeleteYour mantel is darling with the vintage typewriter adored with flowers!
Have a wonderful Christmas, Cecilia!
Cecelia, your table has such a beautiful, vintage, festive feel. It is so soft and inviting. I love the white trees and your green glassware, it all comes together beautifully. Your jadeite cocoa station is so cute!!! It reminds me of the cups I used to have cocoa in at my grandmother’s house❤️ Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteCecilia, I love dinnerware with cardinals and birds so I love your new-to-you dishes! Such a sweet and merry pattern and I love the bird’s eye view ;) of your table with the greenery, white trees and sprigs of rosemary. As always it’s a treat to join you at the table and hop with you. Wishing a Merry December ♥
ReplyDeleteHi there!!! I absolutely LOVE the way you dressed that typewriter! That is something you don't see everyday, and I'm totally in love with it! So fresh!!! Truly my Pinterest pick of the day!!!!!!!! And the sprig of rosemary at each place setting is a really nice touch. It all works so nicely with your dishes. I didn't even know Corelle made a Christmas series!!! Wow! I learn something new every day here!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful tribute to the season. I wish you and yours a very happy and safe holiday!
I love those dishes, Cecilia! Corelle is so light, which makes it nice for handling and storing. Your tabletop elements work perfectly in your dining (I really like the chairs around the table with this tablescape!). Cypress on the table center and those little votive glasses look so good with the little trees you were able to get on clearance at HL. The little test tube vials for hot cocoa are adorable on the jadeite cocoa stand. A very Joyeux Noel to you!
